The Midwest City-Del City Public Schools Foundation is a community-based nonprofit organization that for 23 years has been promoting and supporting the Midwest City and Del City Public Schools by inspiring excellence in education.

We are grateful that the Kirkpatrick Foundation is awarding us a $10,000 grant to help fund our new program, "Taking Flight." This curriculum development project for fourth-grade is reaching every elementary school in the district. In addition to a new, cross-disciplinary unit around the theme of flight, fourth-graders will also get field trips to Tinker Air Force Base and other sites to examine a variety of aspects of flight.
