Our Mission The Foundation's mission is to promote educational excellence; to generate optimism and excitement in students and teachers; and to inspire community ownership, commitment, confidence and pride in the Mid-Del School System. The Foundation encourages innovative, creative educational opportunities for students in the Mid-Del School System. The Foundation encourages teachers to explore new approaches to teaching and to develop programs that stimulate thought and expand the existing curriculum.
Midwest City-Del City Public Schools Foundation The Mid-Del Public Schools Foundation was established in 1989 and is a non-profit community organization whose purpose is to secure and distribute contributions from individuals, families, corporations and foundations for the benefit of the students in Mid-Del schools.
The Foundation is governed by a board of trustees who are representative of the communities served by the Mid-Del schools, as well as five ex-officio including the district superintendent and representatives from the board of education, school administration, teaching faculty.
